Beyond a large clump of Japanese bamboo is "Lehua Cottage". This idyllic and private little house was built only seven years ago. It is situated on the property so as to command wonderful views of the ocean,the Island of Lanai and the West Maui Mountains - sunsets are really spectacular from the deck that runs the length of the house.

There are two bedrooms - each with a queen size bed - and one full bathroom. The complete, modern kitchen has a built in stove, dishwasher, microwave oven etc. - and views of the garden and mountain through the kitchen windows. There is also a washer, dryer and TV. The living room is large and bright and is decorated in the easy going and comfortable style of Hawaii. Throughout the house is an eclectic collection of Japanese Ikebana ceramics and original artwork by contemporary Island artists - interesting and beautiful . Sliding glass doors lead from the living room to the sun deck. This is the perfect place to stretch out in the hammock and relax. When evening comes you will find the night sky, ablaze with stars, truly hypnotic!

The whole house is light and airy. From every window are views of the garden or the ocean, the mountain or the woods. The gentle breezes that rustles the leaves of the bamboo, the songs of the birds and the comfort of this Island home make Lehua Cottage a wonderful place to relax and rejuvenate.
