This charming cottage - "a glorious
lookout to the ocean and islands beyond"* - is blessed with a truly spectacular

take your breath away. Recently renovated and updated, Mahina Cottage still
retains the romance of Hawaii of the 1940's. The cottage has one large bedroom,
a full bathroom, and fully equipped kitchen, separate living room and large
deck. Facilities include a gas barbeque and hammock. There is also a washer and dryer.

The spacious bedroom with a king
size bed, looks out on a private enclosed garden where a gracious old cherimoya
tree provides support for the huge tropical leaves of a monsteria vine. In
season, pick the cherimoya fruit for your breakfast or for a cooling dessert
- it's an exotic blend of flavours with the smell and texture of vanilla ice
cream. Spend a romantic evening lounging
in the hammock, gazing up at the stars of the Milky Way in Maui's clear night
sky. "The star gazing deck,"** as one guest calls it, is the place to build
